Miccostumes Rem [Re:Zero] Cosplay Review

Photographer : Jack Manovella
https://www.facebook.com/jack.manovella?fref=ts
Post Production : Tessa C.
Ram :  KURA
Both cosplay costumes from Miccostumes

REVIEW :

Pros : IT IS SO CUTE! It fit me no problem, it was even a little large on the waist but if I had gotten size S I was afraid that it would be too tight. The fabric used for the shoulder straps are a big plus, because they stay up on their own, and magically defeat gravity!
I was worried that the dress might be a little short compared to Rem, but I actually like the length, if it were longer it wouldn't be as cute. haha.
The dress was fully accessorised, it came with the white socks, a petty skirt, hair pins, and even the head gear.

Cons : The socks are a bit tight and too short. The flower that came with the head gear wasn't to my liking, so I made different ones (one for myself as Rem, and for Ram). See picture above for the hand made one!

(The flower provided with costume)

For the price given, the outfit is really worth it. I will definitely wear it often!
Miccostumes does not have the wig in stock, so I had to order my own. Since Re:zero is a New series, I hope they will get new items in soon!

Miccostumes Nagisa Shiota Cosplay Review

This item is from : miccostumes.com
[Nagisa Shiota - Assasination Classroom]

Pros :
When the costume arrived it came in a neatly packed bag, the cosplay included more than I thought! It also came with the belt that I didn't know was included.
The pants and button shirt were a perfect fit. I was a bit worried that the pants might fit too tight or too short, but it was almost as if they were sewn to fit me!
When ordering cosplay costumes, there is always a risk that the colors might be in different shades compared to the character design. However, all of the pieces of the outfit match perfectly and respect the color chart of the character design!

Neutral :
The wig came with an extra color : dark blue.
I would have preferred to have it all one color, but after styling the wig, it didn't look that bad!

Wig after styling

Cons:
The two pigtails were kinda hard to style. The hair-clips are really hard to open, and if not styled properly, the white part of the hair-clip sticks out.
The dark blue vest was too wide, so I had to hem the sides in order for it to be tighter. But hey, better too big than too small!

Conclusion
The overall cosplay is good quality and well made! I like the choice of fabric, everything fits no problem, and is decently priced!

Axent wear headphones review

The axent wear (or cat eared) headphones are indeed very cute. Seeing the design for the first time, it was a must want!
Taking them out of the box for the first time was very exciting, they came in a black box, and I was able to turn the leds on right away.

The leds are very bright and look fantastic, and the sound was better than expected. From both internal and external speakers. However only hours later after some usage, the right ear stopped functioning. For a 150$ headset, this was a big disappointment.
After charging the headphones fully, the problem seemed to have disappeared and they were fully functional for about 3 whole months. On a trip to London, they suddenly stopped functioning from the right ear.

Brookstone was very helpful and it was no problem returning them, no shipping fees were needed, and I got a 100% refund. They told me to wait a few months, since a "better version" was coming out.

I waited the time given, and then ordered a new pair.

The new pair seemed a little less bright than the first one (then again it might just be my imagination). And the right ear didn't work at all. I was pissed (ノಠ益ಠ)ノ彡┻━┻!!!
After charging it, they magically worked (but I was still pissed). They continued working for a while, but the right ear would give up on life whenever it felt like it. So I decided to open the thing up and see whats wrong (since there was nothing to loose...)
After carefully removing the cushion, nothing seemed unusual, I tried gently pushing on the connectors assuming that maybe something wasn't pushed in. Put everything back together; and they started working again.
Since then, it's ben months and nothing seems to be wrong, and they are fully functional.
I have decided to have fun with them until the warranty is almost over, or until they break. Then return them.

Conclusion :They sound good, they are cute, but not 150$ cute.
